WAKO European Kickboxing Cup Zagreb Open ( former Karlovac Open) was held on 16-18 February 2024. This year in Zagreb, Croatia capital city, and in the grand Arena sport hall, which offered superb facilities during the event.
European Cup Zagreb Open 2024 registered 2441 participants from 267 clubs and 39 countries and Zagreb Open Cup
625 participants from 93 clubs and 22 countries. In total it is 3066 participants, a great number indeed.
Competition lasted three days and from the first day on the fighting areas we could see a lot of excitement and very good fights.
Cadets and juniors definitely have gone on the next level with their performances, particularly in kick light.
During the opening ceremony, the organizer of the event Mr. Zoran Cicvara and his team greeted WAKO Europe President Istvan Kiraly, WAKO Europe sport director Srđan Bugarcic, WAKO Technical director Romeo Desa, WAKO Board of directors member Tomaz Barada, governmental officials and representatives: Vjekoslav Šafranić, Tomislav Družak, Suzana Šop and other VIP guests, expressing his gratitude for all the support and help in organizing such event.
