A historic event, the first official German Military Championship in kickboxing, took place on March 8, 2024, at the Infantry School in Hammelburg. The organization was led by the Close Combat Inspection of the Infantry School Hammelburg under the direction of Chief Warrant Officer Andreas Mohr. This was supported by the Federal Association for Kickboxing, represented on-site by Vice President Andreas Riem. The fights were held in full-contact and K-1 style. A total of 10 fights were conducted.
