The World Games 2029 will be hosted in Karlsruhe in Germany. This is the first time a city is organising The World Games for the second time! Karlsruhe showcased its hospitality for the Games in1989.
It was decided in The World Games General Assembly.
The Annual General Meeting of the International World Games Association (IWGA) has voted in favor of accepting both the International Federation of American Football and International Cheer Union as new members of the IWGA. The IWGA now has 40 member federations.
WAKO Vice President Espen Lund was attending the meeting, where these decisions has been made.
WAKO is participating in two disciplines, Point fighting and K1. The decision has been made to start with additional discipline to K1, from Chengdu, China, 2025.
Kickboxing has been included into program of The World Games from 2017, held in Wroclaw, Poland.
