Kickboxing is a modern contact fighting sport created on the basis of many traditional combat sports and martial arts.
Kickboxing is a unique Western response to many Eastern martial arts. It can be practiced on competitive or recreational level depending on the aspirations of the kickboxer, but it is a sport designed to improve your overall health, strength and endurance.
The WAKO and WAKO Europe as it’s continental division, are the organizations which foster, develop, promote and regulate all activities within sport of kickboxing, WAKO worldwide and WAKO Europe in Europe.
WAKO Europe provides an environment which organize a variety of activities that will enhance life-long learning and participation in sport, promotes values which encourage kickboxers to understand and respect differences among people and to use a power of sport to create safe, healthy, equitable and inclusive Europe.
