Kickboxing at The World Games 2025

Chinese Sichuan Province and Chengdu city hosted from 6-17 August over 4,000 athletes from more than 100 nations around the world, with 34 sports on show, in one of the biggest international multi-sport events in the world. The World Games is a multi-sport event for sports and disciplines that are not (or not yet) in the program for the Olympic Games.

The kickboxing competition at The World Games, held in Chengdu, China, took place from August 12–14, 2025.

WAKO had a very successful appearance, with the Sichuan Gymnasium packed with spectators on all three competition days, cheering passionately and with great precision throughout the fights.

Qualified kickboxers from all five continents took part, and from Europe kickboxers were coming from: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Czechia, France, Germany,  Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland,  Israel,  Italy, Moldova, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Serbia.
