WAKO has launched new version of the mandatory Medical certificate for kickboxers.
The document contains mandatory examinations (second page), that must be performed in order to obtain a correct and valid medical certificate.
For all competitors who got a medical certificate according to the old form before July 1st, 2025, that is still valid, the official doctor at the tournaments will accept the medical certificate issued on the old form.
All competitors who received a medical certificate after October 15th are required to undergo new medical examinations as stated on the second page of the new form of WAKO Medical certificate.
It is the responsibility of the athlete, coach and national federation (failure to comply with one does not exclude the responsibility of the others) that the competitor has a valid and correct medical certificate filled out, signed and stamped by an official / approved doctor of the national federation.
