WAKO Organized a Seminar for European Members on the New Registration Model
WAKO held a seminar for its European member federations to explain the new registration model, which will come into effect on February 18, 2026. Two key points highlighted at the beginning as most important are:

WAKO Pass is required for all types of kickboxing competitions, from local to international events.

All competitions within WAKO member federations must be processed through the Sportdata web platform.
Additionally, two new terms are being introduced: NF Membership and WAKO Event Pass. To participate in any competition, athletes must have both valid documents, and the same applies to all officials.
NF Memberships are issued exclusively by national federations, valid for one year, and can be renewed annually.
WAKO Event Pass is issued only by WAKO International. There are three types of passes:
- Type 1 – Multi-Event Pass
- Type 2 – Single-Event Pass
- Upgrade from Single-Event to Multi-Event Pass
- Type 3 – Officials-Event Pass
Event Registration Requirements are:
- User data: (name, date of birth, gender, photo)
- National Federation membership: (valid, paid (if not free-of charge), not expired)
- WAKO Pass: (valid, paid, not expired, with correct pass for the role at the event (athlete vs official)
