The WAKO World Championships for Juniors have successfully come to an end in Jesolo, with an impressive participation of 39 European countries, each represented by their national teams.
Europe has once again demonstrated that kickboxing is a truly mass-participation sport, with strong national federations, well-organised teams, and a shared commitment to the continued development of our sport.
Alongside the competitions, the WAKO Europe Board held a meeting and workshop in Jesolo, addressing current matters and discussing preparations for the upcoming WAKO European Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia. This championship will also serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2027 European Games in Türkiye, marking another important milestone in the development and recognition of kickboxing across Europe.
