These 64 clubs are the first to recognize the importance of safeguarding certification, successfully completing the training programme and earning the Safe Combat Label.
Their achievement marks an important milestone for the Safe Combat programme, in which WAKO Europe is a partner, with financial support from the European Union through Erasmus+ project funding. Reaching this number of certified clubs represents an important indicator of the programme’s successful implementation and its ability to engage the kickboxing community in creating safer sporting environments.
Following the summer break, we expect a significantly larger number of clubs to join the certification process. By obtaining the Safe Combat Label, clubs demonstrate their commitment to safeguarding and make a clear statement that the safety, wellbeing and protection of their members are among their highest priorities.
It is more than a certificate — it is a mark of responsibility and a commitment to building a safer future for kickboxing.
