First Practical Safeguarding Education Session for European Kickboxing Clubs

by marijana

As part of the ongoing SAFE COMBAT project (Co-funded by the European Union) and the wider commitment to creating a safer sporting environment, the first practical safeguarding education session for kickboxing clubs across Europe will take place during the Polish International Kickboxing Cup in Kielce, Poland.

The educational seminar is scheduled for Friday, 12 June, at 20:00, in the VIP Room of Legionow Hall. All coaches attending the event are invited to actively participate in this important session, which marks another significant step towards strengthening athlete protection and safeguarding standards within the European kickboxing community.

During the 45-minute presentation, participants will be introduced to the key principles of athlete safeguarding, including the standards and procedures that clubs are expected to implement in order to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all members. Coaches will also receive information about the online safeguarding course that forms a mandatory part of the club certification process.

Participants will learn about the practical benefits of club certification and why safeguarding is becoming an essential component of modern sports club management throughout Europe.

This educational activity represents the beginning of a broader effort to support kickboxing clubs in meeting international safeguarding standards and reinforcing their commitment to athlete welfare.

We encourage all coaches present in Kielce to join the session and become part of this important initiative aimed at making kickboxing safer and stronger for future generations.
