During the WAKO World Cup in Uzbekistan, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adkham Ikramov, welcomed a WAKO delegation led by President Roy Baker and WAKO Europe President Espen Lund.
Key topics of discussion included taking kickboxing development in Uzbekistan to the next level, strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and expertise and creating new opportunities for young athletes to compete on the international stage.
As part of the visit, the WAKO delegation also visited the branch of the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory, located in the administrative building of the Ministry of Sports in the Olympic City.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation in supporting the continued development of kickboxing and opening new opportunities for future generations of athletes.
