Mandatory conditions for organizing and participating at the WAKO events

Important update of the mandatory conditions concerning organization and participation at WAKO events:

• all competitions (at the local, national and international level as well as all championships) MUST be conducted via the Sport Data platform;
• all national federations should contact the representatives of Sport Data  and arrange with them national or regional online seminars on the use of the Sport Data program for competition management;
• all international competitions, camps and seminars MUST be published in the WAKO Calendar;
• all participants (competitors, coaches, referees, officials) of all competitions, camps and seminars MUST have a valid WAKO Sport ID – valid membership status on the WAKO membership platform and MUST be registered as a participant of the event;
• registered persons at the WAKO membership platform (athletes, coaches, referees, officials) are not allowed to participate in competitions that are not run through the Sport Data event management system. Participation at such events generate violation of the WAKO Rules and disciplinary sanctions are possible;
• all national federations are obliged to submit to the WAKO Technical director a completed form for all international competitions and other events (camps and seminars), as well as for all international competitions and other events in 2024 and 2025, in order for the event to be included in the next versions of the calendar;
• OPEN international tournaments cannot be organized during the period of WAKO WORLD CUPS, as well as CONTINENTAL CUPS, if a competition is on the same continent;
• all competitions and tournaments in WAKO, except for world and continental championships as well as regional championships, are competitions in which athletes must participate as the members of their clubs, therefore participants must be registered as members of clubs, not as members of the national team;
• only WAKO verified and approved equipment from the following suppliers CAN be used in all fights at all WAKO competitions: CENTURY, TOP TEN, ADIDAS, MANUS, RDX, MASTERS FIGHT EQUIPMENT. National federations and organizers of the events are obliged to ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to approved equipment. All members of national federations who are participating, MUST be informed about this. Failure to comply with this decision by the organizers, national federations and all officials at the competition may result in disciplinary sanctions;
