The WAKO Europe Board of Directors, upon the President’s proposal, has decided that this important role will be carried out in the coming period by Ilija Salerno (IRL). Ilija is a member of the WAKO Organizing Committee and has extensive experience in sports venue management as well as in organizing major championships.
He also serves as the WAKO General Safety Officer, which means that, as a member of the Safeguarding Committee, he works closely with local organizing committees of WAKO events to ensure maximum safety for all participants.
Going forward, Ilija Salerno will be involved in the implementation of events from the WAKO Europe competition calendar.
