To foster safer sport environment for athletes in various combat sports, WAKO Europe has joined Safe Combat Erasmus project, to contribute in:
creating Safeguarding code, organizing specialized education trainings for athletes and their entourage through open online course and implementing the certification and licensing the clubs.
In 2026 we will focus on defining Safeguarding Code, undertaking extensive education on Safeguarding among coaches and implementing club’s certification.
A significant amount of theoretical and practical work by the partners within the consortium stands behind this project.
We hope it will serve all participants in combat sports, as well as clubs which, after obtaining the license confirming they have completed this training, will add a new value to their work with children, youth, and everyone who wishes to be a part if the combat sports community!
