For decades, WAKO’s visual identity has represented strength, heritage, and unity. It carried us through World Championships, Olympic recognition, and global expansion.
By the time we have witnessed multiple variants of logos, mixed styles, and inconsistent presentation which created confusion diluting the impact of our global message. WAKO brand become very fragmented.
Over the past year, WAKO has been transitioning to a modern, unified brand system. Our federation has grown, so too have our communication needs.
We decided to match the professionalism, ambition, and global influence WAKO now holds. We decided to adopt new identity, which reflects our evolution: Olympic-ready, globally aligned organization, built to elevate every federation, event, and athlete under one standard.
The news is that we now have localized K Logos, showing national identity based on the national flag.
Each country and continent can proudly showcase its connection to WAKO through a localized K icon.
We invite all WAKO member national federations to adopt the new branding and, in line with our organization’s new visual identity, update their national logos.
