EVERYTHING IS GOING BY PLAN
European Championships is already on its second day. We had yesterday great fights and today’s schedule is promising too. The quality of the fighters prepared for K1 especially is for the respect.
Who wants the gold, has to pass hard trip of tight fights.
The opening ceremony was fantastic, with many important guests from international sports establishment present: Mr.Janez Kocijančič, European Olympic Committee acting President, Mr. Bogdan Gabrovec, President of the National Olympic Committee of Slovenia, Mr. Fištravec Andrej, the Mayor of Maribor and Mr. Dejan Zavec, boxing legend. The Opening ceremony of the Championships was the great opportunity for the meetings with WAKO IF President, Mr. Borislav Pelevic and Mr. Roy Baker, WAKO Europe President.
The best part of the program was demonstration of kickboxing training of disabled kids which is on the program in Tomaz Barada Sport gym. The passion and happiness of the boys during the demonstration was so touching so we could see tears in many eyes in audience.
This European championships is part of the K1 WAKO qualifying system for The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw.
