Scientific research for the improvement of theoretical background of kickboxing

by marijana
During the international sport scientific conference “Contemporary Kinesiology: Active Lifestyle” held last weekend in Split, Croatia, Dino Belosevic, a chairman of the WAKO Educational Committee, presented the scientific research “Priority Technical-Tactical Structures in Kickboxing Fights According to K1 Rules”.
The aim of the scientific research was to give us an insight into which techniques the world’s best kickboxers in K1 discipline used the most in their fights, how they packed it in tactics, and which of them was the most efficient.
In the future stages, this scientific work will enable coaches to determine which techniques should be paid more attention to in the final training process before big competitions.
This is a valuable contribution to an overall contemplative elaboration of the theoretical background of kickboxing and in the future, the process will certainly gather more leading persons from our sport on the same projects.
