Important notes:
Changes to the seeding and ranking list – for each victory in WAKO official international open cups, the competitor will receive 2 points that are calculated for the ranking list – effective from January 1, 2026. In order to implement this, it is necessary that international tournament organizers send the SET tournament backups by email to adil.triqui@wako.sport
Tournament Sportdata administrator must create a user in the database and provide WAKO Organizing committee – adil.triqui@wako.sport – with the login credentials, to verify the data and generate a ranking file.
There are several criteria that must be met in order for a tournament to be included in the ranking:
- The tournament must be an official International C-Tournament
- The tournament must have used the official WAKO categories
- Only official WAKO categories will be imported into the ranking (no Beginner categories, etc.)
The results can be considered for the ranking only if all of these criteria have been fulfilled.
2. Seeding for continental championships is determined according to continental ranking lists – effective from January 1, 2026.
3. Changes to the Medical Rules with changes to the associated forms (two forms – Pregnancy declaration and Dental brace certification), which are included as questions in the Medical Certificate, are abolished. Attached are the forms related to the competition.

The exact time, links and for which region the seminar is intended (differences in time zones) will be published in emails that each national federation will receive from the WAKO Office.
