WAKO Europe Vice President Salim Kayici visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina Kickboxing Federation

On the 6th of April, at the invitation of the Kickboxing Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the vice president of WAKO and WAKO Europe, the president of the Kickboxing Federation of Turkey – Salim Kayici, together with Tümay Ünal, a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Kickboxing Federation, made an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The visit was made for the purpose of developing deeper cooperation and improving relations between the two national organizations.

They visited the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the hosts Elvedin Dubravac – the Vice President of the BiH Kick Boxing Association and Dragana Vitković, member of the Board of Directors of the BiH Kick Boxing Association.

The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. dr. Said Fazlagić – general secretary and Dejana Planinčić – senior expert associate for sports, international relations and projects of OK BiH.

The meeting consisted of discussion about the development of kickboxing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the official request of the BiH Kickboxing Association for membership in the Olympic family of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the category of non-Olympic sports, which will be considered at the 4th regular General Assembly of the OK BiH.

Salim Kayici presented the kickboxing participation program at the upcoming European Games, which is a very important step in the future position of kickboxing in the Olympic family of sports.
